INAUGURATION OF THE SLUDGE LINE OF ECOMMOY'S PLANT

The inauguration of the new sludge line of the Ecommoy's plant was held on November 14th, 2009. The water line of the present plant still ensures treatment of raw water in respect of discharge standards.

Yet, the capacity of the sludge line, with its draining drum and storage silo is no more sufficient.

That is why the town council has chosen a sludge stabilization process using beds with reeds; sludge will be re-used in agriculture.

Thereby, 8 beds have been planted by NDEI, which makes easier the running of the process by NDES.
